Better Requirements through Story Mapping
Want a better way to visualize and prioritize your requirements? We've been using Story Mapping here at ProQuest and will demonstrate the concept in an interactive session with participants.
Story Mapping is an approach to Organizing and Prioritizing user stories that
-
assists with requirements elicitation
-
makes visible the workflow or value chain
-
shows the relationships of larger stories to their child stories
-
helps confirm the completeness of your work breakdown
-
provides a useful context for prioritization
-
plan releases in complete and valuable slices of functionality
The Story Mapping concept has been pioneered by Jeff Patton, you can read more about it at his website.
Come and be prepared to participate and learn how to use Story Mapping concepts in your requirements process.
