Are you ready to help your favorite PMI chapter? Do you have an interest in compliance issues? 

Then this is the volunteer position you've been waiting for!

 

The PMI-HVC compliance officer assists the PMI-HVC board in ensuring all business activities are in compliance with PMI and other guidelines and rules.  This is a new position offering the volunteer the opportunity to define and manage new procedures and processes.

In general, the compliance officer will:

  • systematically assess potential risk areas within chapter business areas and ensure that we implement the necessary measures to eliminate or mitigate that risk;
  • develop and implement internal compliance awareness training and communications to meet our organizational needs;
  • provide a mechanism to ask compliance questions or report compliance concerns;
  • investigate reports of suspected compliance issues and ensure that the necessary follow-up measures are in place; and
  • regularly evaluate our Compliance program and identify areas for improvement

    Experience with compliance policies and practices is valuable in filling this position.

    Reports to Vice-President of Administration.
