Programs Committee Volunteer Plan
Committee Scope:
The PMI-HVC Programs committee is responsible for the identification, coordination, and execution of programs for the PMI-HVC chapter. This scope includes the monthly PMI-HVC chapter meetings as a primary responsibility. The Programs committee is also responsible for other chapter programs. The Programs committee executes this responsibility under the leadership of the Programs Vice-President.
Committee Member Roles:
Lead
Maintains the focus of the committee, coordinates monthly committee meetings, provides a meeting agenda, and keeps minutes of the meeting documenting decisions, results, direction, and a high level summary of discussions. Act as a member of the committee as well as leading the committee.
Member
Attend the monthly committee meetings as scheduled; bring ideas on chapter meeting programs, and other programs, that benefit to the chapter membership. Reviews potential presentations, checks potential presenter references, assists in chapter meeting presentation logistics (e.g. distribution of materials during interactive session), etc. May lead sub-committee focused on a special meeting presentation (e.g. Job Fair)

Committee Time Expectations:
Each committee member will spend approximately 4 – 6 hours per month working on this committee including a monthly meeting to work on planning future chapter meetings.
Committee Size:
The committee should consist of 6-8 members (including the lead) to provide adequate resources and perspectives to identify potential chapter meeting topics, speakers, and administration. The minimum committee membership is 3, including the lead.
