| | The scope of the Community Outreach Committee is to establish a relationship with community organizations to further enhance the value of the chapter to our membership and to the community. Community organizations are local colleges/universities (Eastern, Washtenaw Community College, Cleary University, Schoolcraft, etc.) and other non-profit organizations (ASQ 1010, PMI GLC, PMI Capital Chapter, PMI Thumb Chapter, etc.). The scope of this committee can be expanded with the approval of the board through the submittal of a business case with costs, benefits, and risks associated wit the expansion. |

- Maintains the focus of the committee, coordinates monthly committee meetings, provides a meeting agenda, and keeps minutes of the meeting documenting decisions, results, direction, and a high level summary of discussions. The minutes are to be submitted to the President of the chapter within a week of the monthly committee meeting taking place. Act as a member of the committee as well as leading the committee.

| It is expected that each committee member (including the lead) will spend about 8 hours per month working on this committee including a monthly meeting to work on issues and identifying new sources of relationships. | Ideally, the committee would consist of 3-5 members (including the lead) to provide a diverse perspective of community relationships. Critical mass for the committee is one member, who would be, by default, the lead. |
| | The PMI-HVC Programs committee is responsible for the identification, coordination, and execution of programs for the PMI-HVC chapter. This scope includes the monthly PMI-HVC chapter meetings as a primary responsibility. The Programs committee is also responsible for other chapter programs. The Programs committee executes this responsibility under the leadership of the Programs Vice-President. |

| Each committee member will spend approximately 4 – 6 hours per month working on this committee including a monthly meeting to work on planning future chapter meetings. | The committee should consist of 6-8 members (including the lead) to provide adequate resources and perspectives to identify potential chapter meeting topics, speakers, and administration. The minimum committee membership is 3, including the lead. |

| | The Communications Committee is responsible for review and implementation of the PMI HVC Communications Plan. The Communications Plan includes communications vehicles such as email, snail mail, website, and other communications as necessary. | There are currently five roles on the Communications Committee.

| The Website Coordinator will maintain and enhance the technical aspects of the PMI HVC website ( www.pmi-hvc.org). Responsibilities include:
- Registering the domain name with the appropriate registrar(s)
- Upgrading site from Sharepoint 2.0 to 3.0
- Enhancing the site with features that will provide greater benefit to our membership
- Other projects as approved by the board.
