So you want to get a new job! Why not simply load up your resume on Monster, wait to hear back from recruiters who are anxious to get you into their company, pick the best one and go get the job?
I think we all wish it was that easy.
Actually, looking for a job just like anything else in that it requires a good project plan. This presentation will help particiants Survive, Adapt and Flourish in today's tough job market. Based on sound recruiting principles, participants will gain insight into how they can develop an individual career strategy that will meet their needs and improve their chances of success in their job search now or in the future.
Mike Callahan, PMP, MBA is Director of the University of Michigan - Dearborn, College of Business's Internship/Career Planning and Development Program. In this role he works extensively with employers and students helping both groups pursue strategies to successfully bring new talent into the participating companies.
In addition to this role, he is also a member of the Faculty at UM-D and teaches courses in Career Planning and Development at the undergraduate level.
Mike spent 25 years with EDS in various leadership roles and during that time he was Director of Human Resources for both Latin America and EDS' Western U.S. Region.
