Project managers have been labeled as the bureaucrats, the paper-pushers, the boring people, the drones of the status reports. How do project managers change the perception and the reality of their contributions? How do we facilitate creativity and collaboration and become dynamic leaders? How do we encourage our organizations to embrace sound project management practices without having peoples eyes glaze over? How do we balance the science and the art of project management?
